It was really interesting - and the worlds the Time Traveler stumbled through indeed incredible at times, and once I got beyond all that 19th century story-telling antics.
H.G. was sometimes almost uncannily "futuristic". Let's hope the evolution of man doesn't end like that! Quite frankly? If we didn't win the jackpot, we'd eventually be Morlocks!

Usually Sci-Fi, as this can be categorized as, too, is also not my cup of tea, but recently, I quite fancy Sci-Fi - books and movies, modern and "ancient" - on the shelf, I have some Verne aussi). My faves so far were the The Martian (book + movie), The Hitchhiker's Guide (until yet only the movie), and Arrival (the movie as well).
