I couldn't read more than two books at once. I tried to, but got too confused soon as they began to mesh into each other in my head. (After a Burn-Out in 2015, I learned to laboriously do things one-by-one again, instead of all at once. Maybe that's a reason, too.)
You're right about Romance Novels, though. They kinda "read faster" than others.
