The WDC NanoLounge

I've been behind pace since about day 4 when work became really busy. I haven't had much catch-up time on the weekends either. I started Monday at 18k but will end today over 30k. Still behind but within striking distance of where I should be. I'm counting on sufficient time over Thanksgiving weekend to crank out another 10k. That means I have this weekend plus another five weekdays to knock out the other 10k. I'm pretty sure I can do it.

As I've been drafting, though, I've been making my mystery novel more and more convoluted. While I think I can crack the 50k in November, I'm pretty sure that I'm going to need at least another 25k to actually finish the thing off. Then, it's editing time. *Sigh.* While drafting is fun, editing is my nemesis.

It's also funny how some days, it's all I can do to gut out 1k, and, other days, 4k happens in the blink of an eye.
