October Novel Prep Challenge

Ahh those stories, so cunning, sitting there biding their time, then suddenly BOOM, your keyboard's going to be on fire. It's taken me all day to be able to sit down and write, Mondays involve a lot of different 'real life' stuff to get through. I admit I was terrified when I created my 'blank page' to start. Still not done here, but 1,441 words in. Pleasingly little snatches of ideas I had are knocking at the door demanding inclusion.

Your story is in there, ready to surprise and delight and terrify you - start typing, coax it out. Tempt it with the promise of rewards, (mine is promised a very expensive coffee next week if it's good), threaten it with ignoring it and writing something more deserving . One way or another you're going to write that story, I'm quite sure.
