Okay. I'm assuming you mean chicken breeding. I once have an uncle who tried to breed chicken in his home for fun. For the fun of it, he sure invested a lot of money and time. Oh, that place smells!
21 days to hatch an egg from incubation. Has to have the right temperature, heat, humidity level. I think he put those eggs in styrofoam boxes? I think they looked like styrofoam boxes. And they are placed in a shaded area. He actually built a roof shed for them so they can hatch comfortably, had wires everywhere, lights for the heat, all that. And the boxes are put on multi-level racks.
It's not easy. One small little thing goes off and the egg never hatches.
I think he eventually gave up...
Off Topic: It also takes 21 days to change a habit. Between hatching an egg and changing a human behaviour, pretty sure it's easier to hatch an egg.
