I see from the list that today's theme is 'Theme'. The definition of theme per the dictionary online is: an idea that recurs in or pervades a work of art or literature.

My personal theme for today is the action of keeping warm and dry. It's cold here and wet with a rain/snow mix. Could that be worked into a story? I guess it's ultimately about survival. Food, shelter, warmth. Our basic needs.

Ooops, already done, and done well. 'Cave of the Clan Bear' is the title I remembered. But the real title is 'Clan of the Cave Bear' by Jean M.Auel.

You think you have an epic story? That book is almost 500 pages. Neanderthals and Cro-Magnon man. Good stuff.
