I love the little story. I check out the daily prompts for the Challenge, but unless something jumps into my head I don't usually enter. You may want to check the rules though. One of the things which has to happen in the story, is there has to be a resolution, and I'm not sure you covered it. You are suggesting a possible resolution, but too many possibilities are still open. I say all this because I got disqualified once because of the reason. I was told with more than one outcome in the story, I was not providing a "resolution".

I loved the little bit though. You can do so many places with it to enlarge the story.
