The Contest Challenge

Fabulous job! I read a few of your entries. The City Slickers joke for Keenest Jokester was awesome. Your enlightenment poem for 24 syllables was VERY impressive for such a short piece, but I expect nothing less from you.

You've done an amazing job of making a comeback! WOOHOO!!! You are only short something for "The Dialogue 500"  (Prompt: You've been living in your underground bomb shelter since the Covid outbreak with your imaginary friend, Wilson) and "The Christian Writing Contest"  (Prompt: Tell us about a Christian who has shown love. It can be anyone from Mother Theresa to your grandmother, friend, neighbor—any Christian who has loved as Jesus loves--The easier of the 2 Christian contest prompts for non-Christians, if you ask me ). You can do it! I believe in you! Then you can get the exclusive, but you definitely have the regular MB in the bag.

Yes, some of those extra contests can undoubtedly count for months you've missed. I'm not sure if "The Prompt Me Contest/CLOSED till Spring"  lets you enter more than once, but if so, you can enter again and count it for November 2019. Or, if it's open, you can just do it next month and count it for then. Poetic Traditions can count for January 2020. Philosophical Musings can be February 2020. Taboo Words can be August 2020. Honoring Our Veterans can be November 2020. We can count Spirits at Lighthouses for December 2020 since nothing that month is open and I'm not sure that anything will be next December, either. We can use Monthly Poetry Contest for December 2019 because I'm not sure they'll be open next December, plus you may be caught up long before then anyway. We can use Your Better Nature for April 2021 because I'm annoyed with one of the contest owners for disappearing just before the month started. And one I know won't be open and the other, whatever.

So, that leaves only Senior Center Forum not being used, mostly because the other months have contests that I'm pretty sure are active or will be soon. Not too bad considering I'm pretty sure you didn't actually look at the list...

So, I have you missing November 2019, March-July, September, and October 2020, January-March and May 2021. Pretty darned good!

Good luck in all your contests, but with the way you write, I should be wishing luck to the other competitors. GO GET 'EM!
