The Contest Challenge

If you find the only thing available to you is offensive (such as a Christian concert and you are Muslim, for example), I will replace it with another option. If the only thing open is something you don't write (such as poetry, sci-fi, non-fiction, etc.), too bad. This is a challenge and part of the challenge is to write things you don't normally right. If absolutely nothing is open, of course, I'll find something for you.

Though if it's April and you are trying to work on a May or June month with nothing currently open, but something will be open in May or June, I'll make you wait if you still have a lot of other months to do that have open stuff. If you ONLY have May or June left and you will be finished, well, I might make you wait for May, but I'd find a replacement for you for June.

But for right now, if you needed a replacement for December, I'd make you wait until you had most of the year done because something from December might open or you might not be done until December when they will open. You are also always welcome to email a contest owner to find out if they will be opening their contest, especially if it's one you really want to enter.

Basically, there will likely be times you need a replacement and I'll make sure it happens.
