The Contest Challenge

YAY!!! WELCOME!!! Sorry to be so long in responding. I'm in graduate school and feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment. But when you post entries (or when I give credit) doesn't matter, so long as you post and I give credit.

If you are feeling especially writerly or just want to finish a whole year sooner, you can work on previous months and finish your 1 year sooner by doing March, February, January 2021, and even working on 2020, if you want. You can go to the Previouly Highighted Contests dropnotes (be sure to check the correct year) and find what you need. Enter with the CURRENT prompt. Then post here like you did, except include the month and year you want the contest to count for along with the name of the contest in the post title here. There's an example just above the forum if I'm not making sense. lol BTW, PERFECT POST!!! I have people who have participated for months and can't seem to figure out how to post on here. Every month, I explain again and again and point them to the examples, but some folks don't get it. I even had one participant who managed to post incorrectly the entire year they participated. Oh well. This is supposed to be fun and challenging, not frustrating and depressing. I give credit whenever possible, even if people post incorrectly. But you did an exceptional job, especially for your first time on my challenge. WELL DONE!!!

BTW, if you are interested, I have a giant celebration every January for those who have done every single year since my challenge began in February 2017. I mean GIANT celebration! I spent 41 MILLION GPs on the celebrants this January. I think there were 13 of them. They got over 100 MBs, 444,444 GPs (for doing 4 years of my challenge), and they got to order 150k in stuff from the WdC Shop and I also paid for shipping, even overseas! There were other goodies like raffle tickets, cNotes, review credits, and other stuff, but you see the point. If you decide you want to catch up and join the January 2022 celebration, get started! You have to be done by January 1 to get ALL the goodies, but even if you finish by the end of the month, you'll still get a lot of stuff. One prize I've already decided to give away is a personalized MB. Each person will get to design and create their own MB for them to have and use however they see fit--fundraising, rewards, just for fun, whatever. MBs cost 500k and the celebrants will have done 5 years of my challenge, so it seems appropriate. But even if you don't manage to finish all 5 years before January 2022, there's always January 2023 and you'll have an easier time finishing in almost 2 years instead of less than 1. But know that the rewards change every year. Some things are the same--always MBs and cNotes and raffle tickets and GPs and such, but the amounts change and I may not be doing review credits again. I also might not buy folks stuff from the WdC Shop since some didn't really want anything since I'd done it the year before as well. I guess you only need so many WdC mugs and shirts. lol But I may offer to pay for the shipping if anyone wants to pay for their own stuff. We'll see. The only thing I promise is an exclusive MB. The rest will be decided when the time comes. Well, there WILL be MBs and GPs and such, but I make no claim as to how many. They've never gotten over 100 MBs before. They usually get 30-50, I think. But still, that's not nothing. Anyway, it's just an option for the more greedy and/or motivated members here.

Whatever you decide to do, even if it's "just" working forward one month at a time like the challenge was originally designed for, good luck in both your contest and the challenge! You got this!!! And again, WELCOME!!!
