The Contest Challenge

Well, you only provided the link to the item, so I don't know if you entered the contest. If you provide the link showing you entered, I can click that link and go read your item, if I want to. I usually don't, but I have occasionally read people's stuff for fun or curiosity. So, the link to the forum post also provides the item link when I click through the item link doesn't provide a link to the post proving the contest was actually entered.

Though Ruwth, I think it was, would usually provide both, for whatever reason. It was totally unnecessary and I kept telling her so, but whatever. She was providing the {post:XXXXXXX} link, so I didn't care if she also wanted to provide the {item:XXXXXXX} link if it made her happy. I forget why she said she did it. I told her it was just extra work, but if it made her happy, go for it.

Does that make sense? One provides both pieces of information while the other only provides one. But if you want to post both, have fun! In any event, I did give you credit for this entry, so it's all good. If you forget what I want, examples of both current entries and makeup entries for catching up on past months are posted just above the forum. In fact, when you click the link at the top to jump to the forum, you actually land with the example at the top of your screen, though a LOT of people never seem to notice. lol
