The Contest Challenge

Ah, perhaps I am remembering you from "The Whatever Contest -- Closed for Now" . What happened to it? I got like 53 entries in November and half that many in December. THIS is why I never started a contest before. I'm terrible at judging on time. And so many??? Reading is a bit challenging for me since the brain injury as well. What was I thinking? No idea, but I definitely need to get those caught up. I put out a call for help judging, but no response, so the good news is that there's no argument among the judges. The bad news is that I have to read like 140k words to pick some winners. It's fine. It probably won't kill me. And if it does, well, either way, the problem is solved.

Have fun in the desert! But I totally don't blame you for not typing on the phone! I had to do that once for a group competition on here. I would have been letting down my team if I hadn't. It was terrible, especially because it was based on a true story, but I couldn't access all the articles I'd read because the power/internet were out. Oh well. We ended up winning the competition, so that's what matters. But I hope never to have to do that again.
