The Contest Challenge

Yes, I procrastinate on writing. Sure, I'm a Mod, but how much (or how well) you write has nothing to do with it.

I'm already regretting this. I've started writing something for Roots & Wings and am like, "Wow. Writing takes a long time. This is a lot more effort than I remembered/expected and I'm not even trying to win!" Yeah, I can now see why you all appreciate my cheerleading.

I saw an Air Force recruiter when I was 17, but mom was like, "No! You're going to college!" By the time I ended up joining, the AF decided I was too old to bother with, but it's okay. I look better in green than blue anyway. I hope you don't regret not joining...or if you do and you are still young enough (I think 34 and below), you consider at least a minimum of 2 years just so you can say you did it. That's why my plan was, but 12 years, 4 months, and 18 days later, I was crying my eyes out because I was being medically discharged. It's not for everyone, but I absolutely LOVED IT!

Good luck to you with doing both this year! Is it bad that I'm glad I'm not the only one with literally years to catch up on? Yes, I'm a terrible person. Misery loves company.
