Yep, truly a sad state of affairs. I took Latin, 2 years, as a Freshman and Sophomore, then 2 years of Spanish in High School. I think I mentioned that before. Then I took other college preparatory classes in high school - sciences and math courses as well as history and English, played in the concert band. I think I got a well-rounded education in high school, and all in a little Ohio town. But then I've always been a curious sort of person and love to learn new things, so I don't understand people who just wander through life, oblivious to all the wonderful things out there are to learn about.
