What I meant was, if you make a familiar in the "traditional" way (not the method you present, but a spell existing outside the Libra that actually binds a familiar into service), if you could use any of the stuff made with the Libra on it.
Example: assume a magician (a witch, maybe?) has an owl as a familiar. (Let's call him Balthazar, because the familiar chose a male owl.) Balthazar has been bound into service by a spell that requires using the magician's essentia to create said bind. The magician, by some strange happenstance, gets ahold of the Libra, and creates a mask and mind band of herself, after going as deep into the Libra to do so. Would placing the mask and mind band on Balthazar would cause the familiar to become a copy of the magician? Do note that, because of the bind, Balthazar would be loyal to the witch, so it'd be functionally similar to putting one such combination into a golem, except the familiar isn't a golem.
