Like Joy, I'm a pantser with shorter works. I plot anything longer than a short story, because anything longer than a short story that comes from my brain is necessarily a 20-novel series with a complicated story arc and side stories, plus individual plots for each novel within that arc. That's why Storm Machine and I founded Scope Creepers Anonymous.
Also, as a songwriter, I pants the first pass, then edit until the cows come home. Which is never, because I'm not a farmer.
