Hi! I'm Andy. I've known about NaNoWriMo for 12 years and have been very interested in it, but I've only dabbled at Prep a couple of times and never given NaNoWriMo a serious effort. I think my record is three days and a little over 5,000 words. This year is the first year where I don't have the pressure of multiple side jobs or ongoing legal battles with my ex-wife. So I really feel like I have a shot at giving NaNoWriMo a serious shot this year. I'm still working out how to fit writing time into my busy schedule, but I'm hoping that making a serious effort at completing Prep may help me figure that out and create a consistent writing habit.
