I think we’re both working with a similar definition though I agree that storyline is probably not the best term for it. Maybe ‘route’ would be a better option? And while I’ve yet to read that bit of story, as you mentioned, everything else is a run-off consequence from that one major point of introducing the masks to a particular person.

Regardless of what it’s called, I’d think that rather than using a log-line, as you’ve mentioned, to describe a branch/storyline/route, a few keywords would be better suited for helping with navigation. Considering the size of the interactive, the easier the different parts can be distinguished, it would be much more useful overall to anyone looking through a list.
