It doesn't look like we're going to get any more answers, so I'll post mine. These are the answers I gave before looking at what others wrote. Next post will include reflections based on other replies. The smartest Carson Ioeger probably can't quite match someone like Geoff Mansfield in the Ivy League competitions, but when taking basic cleverness and street smarts into account too, I think he has the best overall brain of the characters I've tried writing for. The worst person to get ahold of a mask You can't do a lot of damage with just a mask. But the most reckless and therefore dangerous person would be a lowlife bully like Joshua Call. [Edit: Originally I said "Nicholas" Call.] Will's greatest non-magical enemy That baby with the unibrow. [/Simpson's reference] Will hasn't got enemies in Saratoga Falls, just bullies and irritants. If "Being tempted to the Dark Side" counts, then I might give the prize to Sydney McGlynn. The kindest Kim Walsh is the obvious answer. But if "tough love" counts as a kindness, I'd give a counter-intuitive answer: Stephanie Wyatt. The funniest Carson Ioeger takes another prize. Between his smarts and his snark, I personally find him very funny. The best at sports (any) Stephanie Wyatt is obviously handicapped in most head-to-head competitions with guys. But I think she is the most athletically well-rounded and skilled. So that's my answer, if we're measuring percentage of potential and not raw power. The best potential relationship for Will We might not have met her yet. Sidney is probably best able to appreciate and adore Will for who and what he is, but she's a bad influence on him (absent a countervailing good influence on her). Tess Miller from Fort Putnam has the potential to be a really good match for him. Bethany Lewis, of the swim team, also seems like a good fit for him. The most untrustworthy Kendra Saunders. Even the snakes think she's a snake. The most beautiful (any gender) I can't answer this one. I've got reference photos, and that would be cheating. ;) The person you wish you could use a mask on The question doesn't clarify if it means copying (and how much to copy) or replacing and impersonating, so I'm going to answer all three. Also, I'll be giving both male and female answers. It's apples-and-elephants to compare them directly to each other. To replace? There's no missing the advantages of being Kelsey Blankenship or Jonathan Straussler. Body and brain to play with? Marc Garner or Chelsea Cooper I think have the most sheer fun. Just the body? Odd choices, because in this case I'd go for health but relative anonymity: Blake O'Brien or Stephanie Wyatt. |
