Prompts: yes, contestants are judged on whether or not they respond to the prompt. However, there is a lot of room for interpretation. We encourage you to use the prompt as a starting point and explore how it relates to your life. If you want to reply to the prompt and then include more general life updates in your entry, that is fine as well *Smile*
