Noticing Newbies

Hi everyone,

I'm a new writer and looking for critique to improve my writing. I am 27, working in the film industry. However, I am about to change careers into travel journalism as I am moving to India. I also want to experiment with prose as I have always enjoyed reading but have never really written prose before. I have posted my first short story on my portfolio. It's an open-ended story about two lovers first encounter. If anyone fancies a read, it's on my portfolio. I'm not sure whether I can link it to hear, but unfortunately I'm a bit of a geriatric when it comes to technology and in particular, this website.
