Saturday is Shabbat, so I don't post much. Next weekend, I want to get off all devices for the day.
Sunday is a catch up from Saturday. Cleaning, food shopping, sometimes cooking, crafting, walking.
It's Monday! Today would have been Nan's 97th birthday. It's crazy to think that the last birthday we celebrated was 8 years ago on Friday, 4 May 2012. She died on 25 January 2013 from cancer. I miss her so much; after work, I'm going to bake a GF strawberry shortcake. That was the cake she always baked for her birthday. I like to keep the tradition alive to remember her.
Yesterday would have been great grandma's 110th birthday. I like to keep her memory alive by telling stories, since she was Irish and loved reading, plus spinning a tale too. She died at 99.5 in November 2009. Maybe one of these days, I might recreate some of the stories she told and publish them as folk tales.
