I love your 'I wish' post! I'll check out the haiku contest. I usually like longer forms but have found myself in a world of oriental poetry lately!

Even thought there's not daily contest, there's tons of contests. You just have to hunt them down. They're hiding in all the nooks and crannies.

I have a contest running this month. "Out of The Fog Contest - Open March 1st"  [E] The prompt is a narrative poem - freeverse or form, it's up to you - as long as it's a story poem about your dream It ends on the 15th. Don't know when I'll bring it back - that's why it's called, 'Out of the Fog'

I have several places I check when I'm looking for contests. On the Shadow and Light Poetry page, Rachel has some contests posted but then there's a link for Contest Central or something like that. I think it's in Jim's port. Then I check Schnujo's Contest Challenge and look at all the past contests through the years, then the Activities and Contests Newsletters and finally the Contest Listing page. Good luck!
