I'm not really all that religious compared to when I was still a kid but I remember my friend (Who was my teacher) telling me about Matthew 18:22, it meant that we should forgive many times. While reading it, the meaning of the use of seven (7) should be kept in mind. Thinking that second chances should be our last chance is just too much pressure. Personal growth doesn't work that way, we're all human so we make uncountable, sometimes even unimaginable, mistakes. The worse a mistake is, the harder to forgive. The only thing that I think your mistake was is just a tired whine compared to many wrongdoings of people. The most realistic response from people to what you did is just saying your action was odd. That's it. And if you haven't already, have you said sorry to that person?
