Hey, NotNot, sadly, I no longer can eat the things I love. I used to eat sweets and cheese every day. Now, I do eat aged parmesan cheese often but not other kinds. Aged parmesan has no lactose. The only sweets I eat are Larabars. They are sweetened with dates (no added sugar). They are the only yummy chewy food I allow myself to eat these.days. Sadly, I really need to cut back on.those. I am diabetic and use a.combination of insulin and diet to manage my blood sugar. I must admit, since I.was.diagnosed on 2006, I have had times I have done a.good job managing this.disorder and long stretches when I.have allowed my blood sugars to run amok. Hopefully, I will take better care of myself from this point on. To be able to successfully gandle the requirements of my new job, I must keep tighter control. Also, there is research that suggests a low fat diet might actually reverse disbetes to some degree. I would like to move toward that result as well. It has worked for my daughter. Her current diagnosis is inactive diabetes. So that tells you a little about my eating habits. Now tell me more about.your.daily portion of rice. How.do you.fix it. What do you eat with.it.
