A nano place to chat about NanoWrimo... |
I don't know how NaNoWriMo does stuff, especially this year. The seem to have gone bonkers. In general, where anyone keeps their novel is totally up to them. There is no set rule. But my novel is in my portfolio here, in Word in my laptop, also copied into a flash drive. We are supposed to write 50K at least by the end of the month. We can do more if we wish. At the end, we post it on the WriMo site for counting its words, only for a moment or two, until their counter does the counting. Then the rest is up to the writer. To edit or leave it as it is, to publish or not, to look for an editor, beta readers etc. In short, our novels are our business. The only words count on this site is with "NaNoWriMo Write-A-Thon" ![]() ![]()
