Epstein was convicted of sexually abusing minors, and other inmates don't take kindly to prisoners who do this. It is possible that he was killed by someone in the prison. There are times that things are what they look like. He could have just not been able to handle what he did or his current situation and killed himself. With the information I can find, the evidence goes both ways. I just don't know.
