Summer is right around the corner, and if you're as fortunate as I am, you've managed to score a 3-day weekend due to an upcoming holiday. "Exciting plans?", you ask. "Nope," I say. "Just gonna play it by ear."

Unfortunately there was only one short entry today that packed a potent punch. This means that there is no contest and we'll move along to the new prompt.
