Maybe I exaggerated a bit - it wasn't all bad. I did loads of writing after all! That was the best thing, I guess But yes, I do feel like writing other people's characters was a bit of a hindrance for me developing my own. I did a few AUs too, but I think even in those I was quite weak in describing the setting. Maybe that's just one of my weaknesses, regardless of whether fanfiction is the cause lol.

Really?! All three of those were super popular when they were out. I mean, Bleach just finished a few years back, and I have no idea about DGM - I think it's still running, but it's deviated so much from when it was at the height of its popularity that I just lost interest. As for KHR, yeah...I can understand if you've not heard of it. It did very well for a time, and then it just sort of...flopped. The final story arc was kinda lame and rushed. But my love for the characters is undying :D
