You are lucky. When I was living alone, I once spent a whole night sitting on a chair in the bathroom watching a spider that had gone partly behind the curtain, but had left two of its legs clinging to the front of the curtain. It was huge and, yes, with knees! I didn’t dare leave it in case it disappeared and crept up on me in my bed. I had to wait until daylight so I could open the window and knock it outside.
