Ok - under Site Display Options in the My Account - settings...
"Do Not Render Embed Tags".
If time allows in the future I'll extend the capabilities of the non-rendered tags to allow loading on demand.
However as there's no ETA for that type of functionality, I wanted to get you something to just stop them from showing on the screen and annoying you.
