October Novel Prep Challenge

I just had to share this experience with you guys. It was weird but quite cool.

When I was doing the final task yesterday, I came to the last heading: Theme. Now, I always struggle with working out the theme. I know what my novel is about, I know what will happen, but to define a theme that runs through it always gets me baffled. So, I wrote the word Theme in my NaNo pad, looked at it, and got Whitney Houston's voice singing these lyrics full blast in my head, "When you're feeling full of doubt, and fear has got you in a bind, love will save the day." And I knew my theme: Love will save the day. It was like a sign from beyond the grave. I've never had that happen before.
