Thank you, again, {huser:mhicks}. I didn't do a regular tag just to show that, for your own convenience, that supposedly the ML tags still tag folks, even if they don't look like they do. Now, technically I haven't experimented to see if it's using the {{ or the db or both, but I know I've been notified of tags when my handle wasn't displayed, so this is sort of an experiment for me, too. I used the {{ on your tag. The chickens saw you getting your cups of oats and were headed here before you were even ready. Of course, the Malay Chicken was first because he's so tall, so he can just move faster than the others. I like him because you don't have to squat down to hand feed him--Convenient for people with bad knees...and those of us who are just lazy. Here's one of our most beautiful chickens, in my opinion, the Cubalaya Chicken. They are really friendly towards people and have no fear. Unfortunately, they can be aggressive towards other birds, so watch him. This one over here used to be called the Barred Holland, but is now usually just referred to as the Holland Chicken. His cousin, the White Holland is now believed to be extinct, so there's not reason to distinguish between them anymore. But this Holland, while listed as critically endangered, has a fighting chance because no animal that has ever been listed on The Livestock Conservancy's list has ever gone extinct. Too bad The Livestock Conservancy didn't exist sooner or the White Holland might still be with us.
