Noticing Newbies

Howdy,

My name is Bryan Roderick, but almost no one calls me by my first name. I've been writing short stories and novels since I was in fourth grade. Writing is not a strong suit of mine but I like to lean into my weakness. I suppose it's some bizarre attempt to better myself. I'm actually a geometry teacher.

I've written and self-published one novel before joining Writing.com but I'm not here to promote that. I've been jumping all over the place with my writing. Starting up a novel and writing around three chapters before moving on to something new.

I love pop culture and references. A sharp eye will be able to detect most but some are so convoluted that I doubt there are weirdos like myself who would get them.

My favorite author is Stephen King and I read plenty of Star Wars novels.
