Physical Description v.s a Photo or Two
by Joy
For Today's Assignment:
I skipped the visual description part, but in my computer, I have photos for each character.
Photos help me a lot to visualize what a character looks like rather than describing a person. Anyhow, physical descriptions usually don't come up during the writing as they distract from the real story, but I need to know the visuals.
So I google something like "fifty-year-old-woman image" or "ten-year-old-girl image." Getting the photos of the actors and other VIPs also helps when I have to write a person's entire life because I can get the photos of an actor throughout his/her life.
