Noticing Newbies

I hope you have settled in and are beginning to find friends and lots to do.

One good thing about all the contests and prompts on this site is there is always something to have a go at. You don't even have to have your item in your portfolio as 'public'. If it is just for your eyes - or you don't yet feel brave enough - set it to 'private' and you won't have to worry until you want people to read it.

If you are a poet, feel free to pop along here "Invalid Item" . There might be lots to help.

Feel free to drop me a note if you need help or advice (or indeed any of the kind people in this thread!).
