My grandfather wrote his first novel at 79 years old. He’s 84 now and working on book #6! *Shock2* So to answer your question, no - I don’t think there’s such a thing as “too old” to start writing!

There are all sorts of writers here, from hobbiests, to published, so I expect you’ll find WDC an easy place to fit in *Smile* To get started, browse through here: "Writing.Com 101Open in new Window. It’ll help you get aquainted with your portfolio and with posting items.
