The Lodestar Contest

I just finished reading all the entries. First time around, that is. This reading was all about just reading them for enjoyment, like a reader. This weekend, I'll be reading them to take notes, and thinking about the prompts and guidelines of the contest while I do.

But, man, as a reader, I so enjoyed reading these entries. I had tears in my eyes more than once, and for quite a few stories I found myself thinking, "I love this!" Like the title of the post says, you contestants are amazing.

Thank you all, once again, for sharing your stories with this contest. It is so very much appreciated. I do not yet know for sure how difficult judging will be, as I haven't yet read the entries as a contest judge, but I imagine it will be quite the challenge, as I so enjoyed reading so many of these stories.

I just felt like I had to thank you all, once again, for giving me so much good reading material. Thank you.
