I sent a full manuscript in to the Angry Robots (publisher) open door call for submissions towards the end of last year. Needless to say, there was a huge amount of competition, and that's where I got my form rejection. I think they've run that call a couple of times, so it's worth keeping an eye out for their next one.

One agent who sent me a very encouraging response was Julie Crisp (might as well aim high). I forget who the other one was, other than they required a hard copy submission!

Two of my crit partners have recently been successful in finding publishers. One has released an YA fantasy with Idriss (I'm not sure of the exact spelling) and the other has just signed a contract with NineStar Press for a historical mystery.
