I left Cali on Monday for Australia. I arrived on Wednesday, Australian time, which means I "lost" a day while traveling across the international date line. All fine by me, except I've got a midterm due on Friday, Cali time, 8 pm. It's now Friday, 12:40 am Australian time. And tonight is the Chinese New Year banquet, which pretty much means no work done then. And I have 3 interviews to conduct on family members for two other classes. I tried doing one yesterday but all I got were one-worded answers. I need at least 30-60 minutes of interview and she gave me about 10. I'm majorly freaking out because this midterm is coming together but not fast enough, and there's just too much risk for distraction/interruption if I try to start recording my video now because, well, the adults in this house keep forgetting I don't want to be interrupted, and my uncle is taking a shower right now, which means you can hear the water going. And one of the requirements for the recording is "minimal/no background noise." And my grade for the class is slowly and steadily slipping into the B zone (currently a B+) and since it's an online class, no office hours, and the professor is just being weird and docking points for nit-picky things, like "Develop your ideas more!" Mister, you gave us 5 minutes to present our ideas. Where am I supposed to find the time within those 300 seconds to do that while also explaining the content? ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** Think you can write for teens?
