Ever since the "coinminer" opt in/out option has been added it has become a real annoyance for all who have Norton anti-virus as the software will block the interactive stories because the JS coinminer 6 and 8 are written into the javascript of the page and it assumes it is an attack on the users browser... despite being given the option to decline. Also once a user declines the coinminer it should not restrict the users from viewing the interactive stories.
Now here is the unattended consequence that you may or may not have occurred to you is that cybercriminals will see your use of coinminer and use it to exploit the systems of your users to their own end and it could end open you up to legal ramifications down the road.
