If I can do it to tell myself why it appeals to me, yes. Here's why: If I'm not interested, nobody's interested.

I stick to the write-for-myself rule when it comes to writing. At least right now, when I barely even know my characters (doesn't matter how much profiling I do), since they sometimes turn out very different on the page.

Maybe you could include different options next year to help out?
