i second Robert Waltz. I've tried many different outline methods, and many of them are now found in the links for this forum because I couldn't find one that resonated. I also find different projects lend themselves to different methods. So play around with it. Don't feel like it has to be set in stone, especially if you've never outlined before. It doesn't have to be super detailed. Just allow your ideas to come through.
