October Novel Prep Challenge

Even in a 3book series, you'll have to have a major arc for each book.
That arc- the one that leads the character from the first incident to the climax, will have a sequence of actions or events leading up to that climax.

So, today's assignment asks you to go from that beginning spot to through the rising conflict. You have to find ways to raise the stakes and to change your character. Is she getting depressed because of this fight with the feds? Is she losing? Are the aliens helpful or does that cause more problems? I'll argue that the source of her depression is probably what's making this journey harder and that would be the thing to follow.
