In trying to come up with responses to today's "Beginning" exercise, ideas started to flow. I now have a better idea of both the current book's primary story and the entire series' story arc.
Naturally, I typed all that in, as well.
So I guess this isn't a rant, so much, but I get stuck on these post titles. This is the fun part of Prep, and one of the reasons I try to support it every year - I don't just stick to the boundaries of the exercise, but use the opportunity to take notes about other aspects of story. Sometimes these come up again in later exercises. Sometimes they don't make it into the story, but that's okay - there are always other stories.
