A month-long novel-planning challenge with prizes galore. |
I'm totally ready right now! I'm considering using plot boards as well as Scrivener this time around. Shoot, I just want to get started right now on one story idea, but all I really have is a character's situation. It's based off of a trope one author said on his blog that he hated: the girl who isn't/doesn't want to be like the others. So I played a "what if". What if this girl is like all the other girls, and it's exactly what she wants, but some situation occurs that wrenches her away from that life and forces her to stop acting like all the other girls. But I'm just not sure where I could take that. I think I want an urban/modern fantasy. But I also want to use modern weapons if necessary. Maybe some of these weapons have magical properties. I just don't know. Oh, the possibilities. Be cool and keep writing! ~ Mary, Duchess Laughing Lemurs āYou must write every single day of your life... You must lurk in libraries and climb the stacks like ladders to sniff books like perfumes and wear books like hats upon your crazy heads... may you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. And out of that love, remake a world.ā ā Ray Bradbury ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
