Welcome to Writing Dot Com! I'm happy to see that you've found your way here. I hope that you get what you need out of this vibrant community.

As you seem to understand from reading your introductory post, reviewing other people is a great way to get to know other members. Getting involved in activities and contests is another good way. If you check out the community tab on the left-hand side of your screen, there's a link in the menu there to contests, and you can scroll down within contests to find ones relevant to the genre you like. Looking through the contest forums, you'll find other members who enjoy writing the same kind of stuff you do.
