Noticing Newbies

My name is Bill. This is the first time posting on a forum like this, so it's a bit scary. I'm not used to putting my writing out like this, so please be gentle. I love writing and I've always loved being creative. I hope that I can become a better writer by communicating with other writers, and if I can help someone else along the way, that would be cool, too. I also think I need to post my work here to get feedback so I won't be so critical of my own work. Thank you.
