Noticing Newbies

Hi everyone,
My name is Monica. I am a student in a college at Illinois. I am currently studying Geography. Yet, before Geography-there was writing. There was writing when I was struggling, writing when I was joyous. When I was young and younger still. Old, and getting older still. I love poetry with an abiding union to it, I feel that without poetry life would be a lot blander for me. I am quiet in real life, but once I get to know you I gab, gab gab and then some! I like to write to get my inner thoughts out, it is a freeing and sacred place for me. A place to pray, imagine and cry some.

I have a Rhodesian ridgeback dog mix, named Liza! She is sweet as can be, and her little paws are just the cutest. I hope all is well with all of you and you can maybe take a look at the poem I first posted :)!

Tell me also: Do you have a dog, what breed and what's their name? Any animals at home? :)
