I haven't written (other than constant reviews) since the daily short stories in January 2013. I've been contemplating writing again since June or so. I had thought to write a book of short stories in November for NaNo. I've just decided to write "Mountain Murder at the Exotic Hunting Preserve" (tentative boring title), picking up a mostly unused thread from the 2010 NaNo project. Set in mountainous Washington State in Fall 1946 (the year before the Washington State UFO sightings), mystery, wealthy and powerful owns his own village and exotic animal preserve, murder [of course], young male protagonist, father deceased, mother works too hard, etc.:) Of interest to me because of the exotic animals, sadistic keeper, all-powerful rich fool, sterling-charactered adolescent boy...
